What Time Is It?

Watch: Michael Kors | Bracelet: Accessorize

I very rarely ever accessorise, and when I do it's very minimal. It's not even that I don't like wearing jewellery because I love nothing more, but I think the problem I've had to come to terms with is that I'm not very good at it.

I'm also not very good at choosing it and imagining which necklace (etc...) would look good with which outfit. It's always 'isn't that too much?' and 'won't that overpower my outfit?'.

At Christmas I received this lovely watch from my dad and I honestly have not had it off since. I know everyone has one of these watches, but that doesn't make a difference to me. I think if you love something, wear it... Even if half the population and their dog owns one! The reason I wrote this whole post is to inform you that if you're anything like me, and are in fact perhaps scared to wear jewellery, then the watch route is a brilliant road to venture down. They are not only practical, but can also act as an accessory. There is plenty of brands out there that offer beautiful and stunning watches that are great for accessorising and layering. And with that, they actually serve a purpose. Brilliant! Functional, modest and chic.

I have left below a few watches that are currently on my radar for you to have a look at in case you don't know where to start. Just click on it if you see one you like and you'll be taken straight to the link!

Do you wear a watch? What is your favourite way of accessorising?

Have a great day!
