New Year's Inspiration

Image-Tumblr
A new year brings a new batch of opportunities, a new collection of events, or at least that's what they say. Considering I still write 2012 when I'm writing the date probably says a lot about how much attention I pay to all this new year business, nonetheless if you didn't already know we are well on our journey through 2014! When I stumbled upon this image I knew exactly what I wanted to say about it.

Wanderlust is not just something I'll think about for the first few weeks of January and then forget about like most resolutions, wanderlust is something that I think will be with me forever. I think the aspiration to travel and not only find out more about the world but also find out more about yourself and get to know yourself better than you ever thought you could really appeals to me in the sense that life experiences are worth so much more than anything materialistic.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Have a great day!

  1. If I had the chance to go to Australia to see my best friend from high school, I'd do it in a skinny second. I personally have always wanted to see that country long before she moved there, but it just got worse after she moved there! #2014BloggerChallenge #blogging

  3. I'd love to go travel the world some day. My grandparents, despite their age, have travelled near and far and the stories they tell of things they have seen and people they've met.. it's truly inspiring and I want to be able to do that with my grandchildren some day. My post is closely related to yours. Would love for you to check it out :) x

  4. In the past I have moved around a bunch but never to a place I really wanted to go, this summer my family and I will be moving to a new side of the country. To a place I want to go. Most people fear changes like that but I thrive off of them. If finances weren't an issue I would travel often. I have been to Australia on an ambassador program so we got to see a lot of the country but very quickly. I would love to go back there and spend more time in the same and new places.

I followed you on bloglovin and GFC. My blog is Thisismyjourney23.blogspot.com
