Summer 2013 Playlist | MegBolderson.

Throughout our lifetimes, we are destined to find at least one album that you could listen to every single minute of every single day, for the rest of your life. Well for me, it's already been discovered and listened to probably every single day since the day it was released, and that album is...

Beyoncé
4
The album I speak so fondly of is '4'- Beyoncé, which I just can't explain how much I love. If you're a frequent reader of my blog, you will you know that I am totally and utterly obsessed with all things Beyoncé. I find I can listen to the album all the time as it can pretty much enlighten any mood I'm in. It really does have everything I could ever want! If you don't already own it, you need to! My favourite songs are probably 'Start Over' and 'Run The World' however I love them all.

Vampire Weekend
Vampire Weekend, Contra, Modern Vampires Of The City
A band I'm loving at the moment is Vampire Weekend. Big shoutout to the lovely Estelle from letmegoxo.blogspot.co.uk as she is also a huge fan of Vampire Weekend! It seems everything they have released is just so upbeat and perfect for the hot, summer weather, which in my case seems to be hiding away (Come on England). 'Campus' and 'Finger Back' to name a few favourites!

Jack Johnson
In Between Dreams
The 'In Between Dreams' album is a favourite throughout my family, the songs mean so much and they just remind me of the many family reunions we would have when I was younger, and occasionally have now. 'Better Together and 'Banana Pancakes' are just a few of my favourite from him!

Justin Timberlake
The 20/20 Experience
Justin Timberlake is also one of my new discoveries, I love his songs because they are just so calming. In my opinion this album makes him sound so much more mature which I love, it's a total change to his old stuff! The album dives many depths, and with most songs reaching a staggering 8 minutes long, there is a long time to take it in! My favourites are 'Strawberry Bubblegum' and 'That Girl'.

Darwin Deez
Radar Detector
Every time I hear this song I just want to get up and dance. It takes feel-good music to a whole new level and is the perfect summer song!

The Great Gatsby Soundtrack
I went to see the Great Gatsby a few weeks ago and I was pleasantly surprised! It was so amazing, and the soundtrack just intrigued me even more! It harmonised with the film so effectively and carefully mirrored the 1920's era. 'A Little Party Never Killed Nobody'- Fergie, and 'Young and Beautiful- Lana Del Ray are on my list!

As new songs are released, and new discoveries are made, my playlists will be forever changing. but for now, these are the tracks i'm really enjoying at the moment!

What ais on your summer 2013 playlist? Have you made any new discoveries lately?

Have a great day!

Tom Browns Satchels! | MegBolderson.

Last week, I spotted a company called 'Tom Brown's Satchels' on Twitter and had to check them out. Soon after visiting their website and lusting over all the beautiful satchels they have to offer, I had to give them a follow. A few days later I was approached by the company wondering if I would like to feature them on my blog! This made me incredibly happy as satchels are possibly one of my favourite accessories to carry around with me as they just make an outfit look so classy and elegant without being too over the top.

Each satchel is handcrafted in Britain and is discreetly engraved with the Tom Browns logo. Inspired by Britain, Tom Brown's Satchels promote not only high-fashion, but high quality and craftsmanship! One of my favourite elements of the brand is that embossing is available, so even your bag can be personal to you. Here are a few of my favourite designs from the brand!

So I thought I would kick it off with this absolutely beautiful, classic tan leather satchel, which claims to have made it onto the bestselling list according to the Tom Brown's Satchels website which you can visit here. This incredibly functional satchel is the 'Brontë' from the 'Brilliantly British' collection which says it all. Satchel's like this really do represent British fashion in my eyes and the practicality of a satchel like this. For instance, this would look amazing as an office bag to store stationary paired with a suit and heels, or even at a festival teamed with a straw hat and wellies!

Brontë- £70-£81 (depending on size)
Next up, the 'Buchanan' from the Great Gatsby collection. Inspired by the famous Daisy Buchanan from the Novel ' The Great Gatsby' which I am a huge fan of, this satchel really is the definition of glamour. Although is has the original structure and design of the classic satchel, the metallic silver completely transforms the whole idea and creates a very elegant accessory, without being too in your face and daring. Just the right amount of sparkle. That being said, when is too much sparkle ever enough?
Buchanan- £95- £105 (depending on size)

Now, this one is another story. The 'Notting Hill' satchel from the 'London Calling' range really opens up so many different doors in the world of fashion! This satchel is the future of all satchels, I can guarantee it. The apple green embraces the colour blocking trend and would look amazing on a stroll through London as you take a few snaps of Big Ben. I can imagine this satchel working with pretty much any outfit you challenge it to, just because it's so pleasing that even if it clashes with the rest of your outfit, someway or another, it would still work and tie in with even the smallest detail.
Notting Hill- £70- £81 (depending on size)
Penultimately, the 'Gatsby'. Obviously this one is inspired by The Great Gatsby. And if you don't know who he is, where have you been? This impressive patent black satchel is so luxurious but so practical at the same time. It has glimmering, silver hardware which just makes it all that more desirable. It really is just so classic and English. I feel it is one of those accessories that would be appropriate for any event, whether that be a red carpet event (I wish) or a quick lunch with friends. I also love how versatile it is in the fact that I consider this satchel unisex, so I say satchel's for everyone!
Gatsby- £98- £130 (depending on size)
Finally, and most probably my favourite of the five (along with the Buchanan). This beautiful pink satchel is based on Juliet from the playwright Romeo and Juliet, which throughout the Shakespearean period of Great Britain's history became very apparent. Because the Shakespearean period was and is such an important and iconic time, the satchel replicates the success and represents Juliet down to a T! I just love it so much, so feminine and suitable but so distinctive at the same time.
Juliet- £70- £81 (depending on size)
And that's it! There you saw just 5 of my many favourite satchels from the brand. I really hope you enjoyed this post and learnt a little more about my love for satchels! In case you missed the link earlier, you can visit the Tom Browns website here which I highly recommend you do and see what else you can discover!

Have you ever purchased from Tom Browns Satchel's before? What do you love about satchels?

Have a great day!

Beyoncé Promotes High-Street Fashion | MegBolderson.

We all know that Beyoncé is not only my obsession, but she is also a influential icon, and not only in the singing department. Yes, she has done it again, this weekend the yummy-mummy stepped out in an ab-flaunting monochrome combo from Topshop to Kanye West's lavish birthday party in New York. The words 'definitely not pregnant' spring to mind.

The influential woman definitely shows her love for the high street in this beautiful monochrome crop top and skirt. Vibrant orange pointed court shoes add a pop of colour to the outfit and match with the bright coral lipstick she wears so confidently (I am extremely jealous). Teamed with a Kurt Geiger croc-effect rucksack, adventurous, on-trend circular sunglasses and hat, she really encourages women to spend less and still look amazing. Surely if an absolute A-List celebrity can do it to such a big, publisised event, so can we!

Unfortunately, this outfit seems to have vanished from the Topshop website completely, the only reason I can think of as to why is that Beyoncé has sent everyone crazy for the two piece and people have rushed to buy it. I know I will as soon as it becomes available!

Her curvy sought-after silhouette is accentuated is a tight fitting combination, we can all agree, she looks amazing! Mrs. Carter just looks so happy and confident and she really is an inspiration to all women.

What are your opinions of celebrities promoting the high-street? Do you think she would hit this weeks best dressed or the complete opposite?

Have a great day!

Garnier Simply Essentials Toner Review | MegBolderson.

Hello everyone! I hope you are all feeling fabulous. Now this is not particularly a very exciting post, however I thought I would share with you all my opinions on the Garnier Simply Essentials Soothing Vitamin- Enriched Toner (wow that's a mouthful).

I picked this up a few weeks ago as I'd seen a few bloggers include it in there skincare routine and for the sake of a few pounds I thought I would give it a try, I mean why not?! Of course I didn't have amazing expectations for it because it's not exactly expensive and it's not one of those products that is exceedingly raved about; and I'm so glad I didn't have high expectations because the toner really did not like me. After using it for about a week or so I was experiencing a lot more little pimples and spots that usual and it made me feel really uncomfortable, almost as if it had triggered an acne breakout (I don't even suffer from acne!). This can only be down to the toner as it was the only thing I changed in my skincare routine. I also felt like it made no difference to my skin and my skin didn't actually feel or look any different throughout and after using it. The only thing I do take a liking to is the packaging, my favourite shade of blue!

Now, I hate nothing more than when I'm disappointed with a product and I also hate giving negative reviews as you can probably tell as I sound as if I just love everything I have ever tried which is completely not the case- I therefore came to the conclusion that I'm allowed to not like a product and I shouldn't be ashamed of telling you my opinion. Just because something doesn't work for me does not mean it won't work for you!

Overall I am highly unimpressed with this toner and won't be repurchasing (sad face).

Have you tried this toner? If you have what is it like for you?

Have a great day!
