Blue Jeans, White Shirt & Double Denim | MegBolderson.

We all have that staple item in our wardrobe that we can always fall back on... Whether that be that beautiful dress you bought last week and 'accidentally' spilt something on it, or that beautiful maxi skirt was way too long (even with your killer heels) and you stepped on it and it tore. Those items of clothing that are an absolute necessity when it comes to rushing and you can still look effortlessly glamorous and as if you spent hours piecing the outfit together. Things such as an LBD or a pair of cigarette pants may fall under this list, but for me, it's most certainly a pair of blue jeans and a white shirt!

Now, some may say that the blue jeans and white shirt 'look' may come across as a bit 'safe' and 'plain'. But fear not, white shirts can be dressed up and dressed down. So on your dash from the office to the restaurant, there are many things you can do to make the look a little bit more innovative and appealing.

Top Tips to dress up the 'Blue Jeans and White Shirt'...

The statement necklace is a very easy and cheap way to dress up a white shirt because it instantly adds a dash of elegance and luxury to your outfit and looks incredible.
This will completely draw attention to your top half and add colour to your outfit, so effective but so effortless.

As summer is very slowly emerging, a pair of high wedges is essential. They can look amazing from anything from Jeans to a Bikini (however it's a little too cold for the bikini at the moment, no thanks).

Denim on denim
I personally absolutely love this look, however you HAVE to get it right, there its definitely nothing worse than a bad denim-on-denim duo. But when it's done right, it can look very chic. I wish I could pull it off as it really is one of my favourite trends. Nonetheless I feel it will never go out of fashion, and even in 50 years time or so, I think people will still be sporting double denim.

We've seen the likes of Alexa Chung and Kasia Struss rocking double denim, however all the way back in 2001 Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake showcased their infamous matching outfits on the red-carpet. I think that's all I have to say about that one... (I'm still a huge fan).

What is your favourite way to dress up blue jeans and a white shirt? Would you ever consider sporting double denim? If so, how?

Have a great day!

Neal's Yard Remedies Bee Lovely Hand Cream Review | MegBolderson.

Hi lovelies, this month, Marie Claire were kind enough to give away a 50ml tube of Neal's Yard Remedies Bee Lovely Hand Cream free when you bought their issue of the magazine. This was great news for me because do I not only love Marie Claire and am a monthly reader of their magazine, I also love Neal's Yard Remedies. WIN!

Ok so, it goes a little bit like this... I quickly tried to squeeze the last bit of hand cream I had left out of my old one, so I could open up this fabulous new one. Then I opened the bottle and wow. In my opinion, the smell is just so captivating, it smells like Terry's Chocolate Orange and honey at the same time, literally the nicest thing I've ever smelt. However if you're not a huge orange lover, this probably won't be for you.

It just glides on to my hands and is a really great pick-me-up when my hands are feeling very dry from the weather we've been having recently. I find a tiny smudge completely lathers my hands and nourishes them right to the tip, I don't have to re-apply for hours. Its brilliant!

The product retails for £10 which I think is a little pricey for a hand cream, but it is well worth it and I will consider buying lots more once the deal is over. As you can tell by the un-opened bottle in the picture, I'm already on my second tube, and stocking up as I go. Because at £3.80 a magazine, you're saving a lot, so why not?

Be sure to pick up this months edition of Marie Claire, you'd be silly not to!

Have any of you tried this hand cream? If you have how did you find it? Would you pay full price for it?

P.S, As you all probably know Google Reader will be closing down July 1st, so I would love it if you could all follow me on bloglovin.

Have a great day!

Lasting Finish Matte Lipstick by Kate Moss Review | MegBolderson.

Hi again lovelies, wow, I love all this blogging, perhaps I should do it more, but I've been doing alright recently- better than usual anyway. I feel so motivated recently to actually get things done and my rate of procrastination in slowly decreasing, result!

Today I have a review of the Kate Moss for Rimmel Matte Lipsticks for you lovely lot. I only bought one as I wasn't overly sure on any of the other colours, and I was in a bit of a rush. They retail at £5.49

I bought shade '101' because I thought it would be the most flattering on my skin as my skin is quite fair and it is a light shade of pink. You have to make sure you exfoliate your lips beforehand otherwise all your imperfections will be highlighted when you apply the lipstick- this is not a good look. I do this by scrubbing my lips with a lip scrub and a toothbrush, and then apply a lip balm afterwards to condition my lips. The lipstick feels really creamy and light. It also lasts a really long time and I find I don't have to re-apply as much as usual.

Overall I think it is an incredibly great value for money and I will definitely be purchasing more.
What is your favourite drugstore lipstick? Have you tried any of the Kate Moss Lipsticks?
Have a great day!
